It would be hard to tell without an exam. Since he has show this behavior twice now, seeking out an exam from a local avian vet would be best, just to rule out any possible underlying health issues. Your vet may recommend additional testing such as bloodwork or x-rays to check for any deficiencies or obstructions that could cause the behavior. If he checks out healthy, then looking to stress as a cause is a good idea, especially if this has happened twice after the same event. It may be that he would be better with a cage-top play area instead of free roam of the house, or having his cage moved to a lesser trafficked area of the house until he is more comfortable. Helping him get used to "scary" things by offering treats, interacting, and spending time together can also help to reduce stress in the long-term.

Monitor him for more episodes. Determine if it was regurgitation (which can be normal) or true vomiting. When birds vomit, they typically flick their head from side to side while ejecting matter. Regurgitation is accompanied by bobbing the head up and down and bringing up food. It is not as violent or serious an action as vomiting. If it is vomiting, Patito should be examined by a veterinarian. You may need to take him to the nearest veterinary ER. If he is behaving normally (not lethargic or fluffed up) then he may be able to wait until your vet is available. Keep him warm and as stress free as possible until he sees the vet.

I am sorry that Frootloop isn't doing well. I would recommend a visit to an avian veterinarian ASAP. The new bird may have brought in an infection the Fruitloop caught if they were not quarantined from each other. Or the stress of change may have caused something dormant to flare up. But with the stumbling and vomitting I worry he may decompensate quickly without some medical attention.

Vomiting is a very concerning issue, and if Cutie is unable to keep any food down, is losing weight, or is otherwise showing other signs of illness, seeking veterinary care ASAP (and separating her from your other birds into a hospital cage) is best. Infections, GI issues, parasites, crop issues, etc can all be possible causes.

Regurgitation is not normal, but could be due to over-feeding, a crop infection or impaction, sub-optimal husbandry, viral diseases, and other. Regurgitation can be caused by many thing such as ingestion of foreign material (plastic, fabric, wood, etc), toxic ingestion (lead, zinc,plants), metabolic disorders (liver, kidney), infections and several viral diseases. Each of these have different means of diagnosis and possible treatments, therefore a veterinary visit is recommended. Chronic regurgitation can lead to dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, malnutrition, and more, making a veterinary visit even more expedient. Try offering small amounts of food and water, more frequently to decrease possibility of regurgitation. Good luck.
