If you suspect a parasite such as mites most pet stores carry a commercial mite spray that can be used on birds to treat mites. Something is obviously causing him discomfort there. Mites are microscopic and you would not see them. I suggest you get him to a vet to figure out what the problem is. You can try to make a makeshift e-collar out of a paper plate to fashion around and prevent her from scratching at the wound if she is making it worse. or trim her toenails down some to make them less likely to worsen the wound. Treating the wound by keeping it cleaned with a washcloth and keeping the area dry can also help it heal. If it's very bothersome and she is scratching a lot, it is worsening, or it appears infected, bring her to a vet to have it treated is best so that it can heal more quickly.

If you suspect Mittu has a skin infection you will need to bring her into your local vet for an exam and for a prescription of antibiotics to help treat it- this may be either oral or in a cream form that can be placed directly on the affected area. You can also use a clean washcloth to gently clean the area and keep it free of debris until it can be examined. Have your bird examined by your veterinarian or an experienced avian vet as soon as you can get an appointment. If your bird is caged with others, separate him until a diagnosis is made in case his condition is infectious.

This presentation could be due to a trauma or localized spot of skin infection (likely to be caused by bacteria). Giving the upper eyelid lesion as well a skin infection is more likely. A check up, appropriate disinfection and possibly antibiotics (oral, topical or in a shampoo formulation) are needed to solve the problem. Your vet may want to perform a skin scrape to identify underlying cause more specifically. Disinfection can possibly be started at home with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths.
