Why is my new bird breathing heavily and has hot feet? What to do?

I’m wondering what you think of going on with my bird, he suddenly started breathing heavily and his feet are hot, I haven’t seen this happen to him before and we recently got him

Thanks for reaching out about Benji. Increased respiratory effort can be serious and a sign of an infection, enlarge internal organ (liver, spleen), pain, or other problems. A veterinary visit is highly recommended,the sooner the better. Providing heat support in the 80-85 F range can give some comfort.
