All of the Zymox products that I found are to treat irritation and inflammation, so they wouldn't be very good at prevention or specific treatment of infection. The best preventative would be a good ear cleaner 1-2 times per week or after getting out of water. I like Dechra EpiKlean Ear Cleanser as it is gentle and helps dry out the ear and remove debris. If you think that Wes already has an ear infection, then he would need have it diagnosed by a vet and get medications specific for his type of infection. Once cleared, you can continue with normal cleaning to prevent further ear infections!

I had no experience with this product, but reading the list of active molecules inside and the reviews, it does not seem a very effective spray. I would suggest to have a prescription product dispensed by your local veterinarian. This kind of lump/growth needs to be ideally assessed by your veterinarian to have a definitive and specific answer. Usually there are two ways your vet can do that a part from examining it directly during physical examination. A biopsy can be taken under local or general anesthetic, otherwise a smaller sample through a fine needle can be aspirated (this technique is called FNA= fine needle aspiration). Differentials include skin cysts, infections, benign or more sinister type of tumors. It looks like it could be a contact allergy of some kind. You can try the following: 1. This topical steroid/antibiotic spray. Apply three times daily until the skin is back to normal. https://worldtails.securevetsource.com/itemView/view/198944_HomeDelivery.pml?productId=135244 2. Chlorpheniramine tablets (antihistamine). He can have 1-2 tablets by mouth every 8-12 hours. Will help with an allergic reaction. https://worldtails.securevetsource.com/itemView/view/198944_HomeDelivery.pml?productId=113389 Both are prescription items but I am happy to authorize them for you if you purchase them through the above think. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Nikki is adorable! Thanks for including pictures! Yes, PetSmile is expensive, but it is one of the only toothpastes to actually be approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council. Here is a list of their approved products. http://www.vohc.org/VOHCAcceptedProductsTable_Dogs.pdf PetSmile is what I use with my dogs. (Last year they ran a 25% off sale before Christmas, so I stocked up!) Yes, it is fine to use Dawn on Nikki's feet daily, but I suspect any gentle cleaner would be fine as well. You may have to experiment to find the best shampoo for her. I have been very pleased with EarthBath products, so you might want to try their Oatmeal and Aloe shampoo for itch relief. https://earthbath.com/product/oatmeal-aloe-shampoo/ There are also prescription itch relief shampoo and conditioner products if needed that you can talk to your vet about. Good luck! I hope that was helpful and answered your questions. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
