While WholeHearted is a good food, feeding it won't 100% prevent bloat. The truth is, the cause(s) of bloat is(are) poorly understood. To decrease the likelihood, feed multiple small meals a day and prevent your dog from gulping food or water. As long as Harley does not have any sensitivities to the food, it should not cause diarrhea. Transition slowly to the new food to prevent stomach upset. (In the interest of full disclosure, WholeHearted is Petco's own line of dog food. You should choose a diet that 1) is easy and convenient to buy, 2) a diet that Harley will eat, 3) a diet that does not cause GI upset, allergic reactions, etc.)
