Petco should have an inflatable collar that works like an e-collar. It looks a lot like an inflated inner tube and it helps keep her from being able to turn her head far enough to reach her incision site.

Sienna has gone in for a spay we left her at 9 am and they had her pre an shot before we left. When should they be doing surgery for her to go home at 4:30 pm that’s when they said they’d be done and I am a bit panicking so it’ll help me be calm if I
I'm a nervous mom too, so I certainly understand what you are going through. The way most vet clinics do surgery is that we try to do all surgeries before 1 pm, so they have at least a few hours to recover before they are sent home. Most vets prefer to do dog spays first, so Sienna may already be done with surgery! Often, we do not call after each surgery is over, but will call after all surgeries are over for the day to verify pick up time. But every vet clinic does things differently, so I can't be sure how your vet clinic does things. I'm sure everything is going well, but if you really need to know if Sienna is done with surgery, you can always call to check on her. There isn't a central organization, no. Most veterinary clinics that aren't open 24/7 usually have answering services, or will have a message of who/where you can call for services if your pet is injured and needs emergency care in your area.

Wouldn't it be great if dogs could just put in a work out video? :) While you are away at work, he may not get much exercise until you come back and are able to take him for a walk or play. In that case, I would investigate a dog walker that can come to your home once or twice while you are away at work to walk and play with Tank. There is an app you can get on your phone called Wag and it works like an uber only it's for dog walkers. You can request a dog walker just like you request an uber at a moment's notice.
