The Pet Corrector stops unwanted behaviors. The loud noise stimulus distracts your dog, allowing you to interrupt and therefore stop unwanted behavior. Enusre that the dog is rewarded immediately the behavior has ceased. It is important that the Pet Corrector is used responsibly and that alternative desirable behaviours are rewarded, please refer to the training guide provided.Precautions: Pressurised container. Keep out of sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 degrees celcius. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from flames. If swallowed, show the label or packaging to a doctor. Only use as instructed. Use in short bursts only. Warning: Canister will chill with prolonged use. Do not place in pocket without safety cap. Do not apply directly on the skin or swallow. Direct away from dog. Do not leave in vehicles. Replace cap when not in use.

Does this work to keep cats away from jumping up on furniture or other places they're not allowed?
- It should. It’s very loud and doesn’t take much pressure to make it hiss

My dog will always, and I mean ALWAYS try to hump every single female dog, every single time I take him to the dog park. How far away from other dogs, does this need to be used?
- It is actually just a burst of air making a very loud sound. Up close is better than far away.

- It depends on your dog. Small breed 9 months larger breeds 15 months.

Are there negative effects for a second dog in the home that doesn't have a barking issue?
- At the beginning, our 4 dogs were all scared of the noise it made. They all ran away. After a few times using it, our dog that had the behavioral issue got used to the can and now every time we pull it out and show our dog, he corrects his behavior before we even press the can.

- Talking to your neighbor is a better alternative than taking action with a dog that is not your own.

Is this fear based? I don’t want to scare my dog, he’s been traumatized enough. We rescued him from an abusive home. I just want to train him without fear.
- Yes, it is. If the noise wasn't aversive, the dog wouldn't stop doing the behavior. Contact a positive reinforcement trainer if you're struggling.

Does this work for dogs that urinate on the floor
- If you catch them in the act, not before or after, it's worth a try..... I use it for my dog's too exuberant greetings, and now all I have to do is show her the can, and she behaves. You might need to figure out why your dog is doing this, if she has been well house-trained before.

Will this help stop my 3 month old puppy from nipping people and chewing the furniture?
- My dogs get aggressive with strangers when they enter my home. I used this and it scares them enough to keep a safe distance from guests in my home.
