We’re moving shortly and I’m worried that our cat will get stressed. Any suggestions?
Moving can be a stressful time for both cats and people. Some cats begin to experience stress when the first box is packed. Try to keep this time as normal as possible for your cat by continuing a normal daily routine and avoid packing your cat’s bed, cat tree, and toys until the last minute. Calming pheromone products, such as the Comfort Zone® Calming Diffuser or Comfort Zone® Spray and Scratch Control Spray, may minimize some of this stress. When moving day arrives, be sure that your cat is safely secured in a cat carrier before the door opens and boxes start leaving. My cat Meika seems to have a sticky clear drainage from the left eye. Sometimes it can turn white mucus looking drainage too. My concern for Meika is can this be painful for her? I've tried cleaning her eye but she will not let me clean the eye. Cor
It might be an eye infection, if this is the case i would not recommend waiting until the 5th of July as the condition might get worse and permanent damage might occur to the eye. she will probably need an antibiotic eye drops, treatment should not be expensive, i strongly recommend that you take her to the vet today in order to get it treated.
