Science Diet is an excellent food but as you have noticed their over the counter foods typically don't have fish. They do have a prescription diet with fish but it can be expensive. I included a couple links to a couple different types of food that contain Salmon. https://www.chewy.com/purina-pro-plan-focus-adult-sensitive/dp/128666 https://www.chewy.com/purina-one-smartblend-sensitive/dp/37688 Thank you for using Boop by Petco.

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach! In my honest opinion, I am a big fan of Science Diet and Royal Canin as my go to recommended dog foods. Both brands offer very well balanced diets that have gone through extensive research. My late dog, that was 20 years old, was on science diet his entire life and I contribute part of his longevity to a great diet. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Personally I recommend Purina Pro Plan, Royal Canin, or Hills Science Diet. I personally feed my dogs Purina Pro Plan. The reason for choosing these foods over other brands are numerous, including the fact that these companies have actual board certified veterinary nutritionists on staff formulating their diets, these companies are the only ones that do actual studies/feeding trials with their diets to ensure that they do provide adequate and optimal nutrition (while all diets that are sold in stores are requierd to meet certain nutritional requirements within the diet, it does not mean the diets are safe and effective, just that they contain the correct amount of protein, etc.), and these companies do extensive quality control/safety screening of their foods. Basically they spend much more of their money on ensuring their food is the best for a dog versus spending their money on extensive marketing to convince pet owners that their food is best!

Hills science diet is a food that most vets will recommend without hesitation (including myself). It is developed under supervision of a veterinary nutritionist and undergoes extensive testing and is made in safely monitored facilities.

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco! I am a fan of Science Diet and Royal Canin. I think both of these commercial diets have well balanced formulations for Sharon. The adult large breed in Science Diet would be a good choice. I contribute longevity in animals to a good balanced diet. My previous dog, who lived to 20 years of age, was on Science Diet his entire life and he was happy and healthy for almost all 20 years. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
