Yes, you can use an unscented sanitary pad in a doggie diaper. You may ask your veterinarian if changing medications may help to urine leakage. There are a couple products (incurin and Proin) that tend to work well but with the heart enlargement and arrhythmia, your vet will need to decide if these medications are worthwhile. You may also look for a water proof cover to keep over the bed to at least decrease the mess. Make sure to have Vivi's urine checked regularly for bladder infections because she is more prone to them. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Hi there and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! Some pet stores do sell liners for female diapers and belly bands. However, some of these are a little expensive. You can try your local wholesale retailer (like a Sam's Club or Costco) for generic sanitary pads for women than may fit nicely and work well.

Hello and thank you for contacting Boop by Petco. The symptoms of gastrointestinal blockage include vomiting, lack of appetite, abdominal pain, small stools or no stools at all. If Sassy ate the incontinence pad a few days ago and she has not developed signs of anorexia and vomiting, most likely she does not have a blockage. If the only worrying sign at the moment is abnormal stool appearance, you should try bland diet for 2-3 days. However, if Sassy looks unwell or starts to vomit, you should take her to your local vets right away.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! It will take time to teach an older dog to go indoors. I would take the pad outside and put it on the ground. See if he will use it outside. If he poops and pees on it, bring it indoors and leave it there soiled for a little bit. So he can see it and smell the elimination. Use praise and treats when he uses the pad outdoors and then when he uses it indoors. Start with the pads close to the door to the outside and then gradually move it to your desired location. Use whatever phrase you use to encourage him to go "do your business," etc. Use a leash to let him sniff the pad. It will take tome to retrain him. Dogs like their routines. Be patient and positive! Good luck!

When she goes in the pad, move the BM outside and show her where you put it and have sniff thebarea to associate the two things. You can also start moving the pad closer to the door each day and eventually move the pad outside completely until she gets used to going outdoors for that
