I took my dog in for a rash he had from allergies, the vet from Boop by Petco prescribed pills and they worked amazing. he stopped itching and the redness went away, I just want to get his prescription refilled. do i have to take him in again or can
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! They will likely be able to refill it for you as long as they agree with that treatment plan to continue. Could you please recommend some good dog dental products?
Hi there and thank you for using Pet Coach! Here is a list of the products I typically recommend: 1. CET oral rinse 2. CET enzymatic toothpaste 3. Oravet chews 4. Plaque off 5. CET chlorhexidine chews Not all of these will work but I have had some mixed success using all of these. My favorite is the Oravet chew as it employs an additive known as Delmopinol to prevent tartar formation. Oravet chews are only available in veterinary clinics so you may have a hard time finding this one online. All of the other products you can find online. I hope this helps! Our Aussie mix 1 year old pup Willow licks her paws after she’s been outside. And it’s not just one paw. My sister recommenced Zesty Paws to help. My question is, Willow is on reconcile that she takes once a day, is it safe to give her this too?
Yes, she can take both concurrently. I actually prefer Redonyl over Zesty Paws. It is a vet only item but you do not need a prescription. https://worldtails.securevetsource.com/itemView/view/198944_HomeDelivery.pml?productId=136578 The Redonyl is more cost effective for you too. She would need one of the 200mg chews once a day so the 120 count package will last you almost 3 months. She would need 2 of the Zesty Paws and that will only last you 45 days. Regardless of which product you choose, she is safe to take either one concurrently with the Reconcile. Good question!

Hi and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! OraVet is great, but there are other options out there as well that may be more available. I would recommend oral health products that are approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council. I have linked a list of approved products below.
