Hi, I need advice for quality foods, vitamins and/or supplements for older cat,I have problems with most of the things that are for senior cats because there is l-thryptofan in all of them and she doesn't feel good with it, she vomits after all the things that have l-thryptofan in them, also is there anything to keep her teeth in good health, that is not hard on the kidneys, she now eats diets low in calcium, magnesium and phosphor for her urinary problems, but that made her teeth to suffer, thanks
My buddy, Peanut, is a senior of 10 years. He is very healthy, but I would like know what, if any supplements I could give Peanut to aid in him while aging. What should I look for? What should I avoid? I want the most scientifically advanced, proven supplement available. He's currently on a quality, grainfree kibble as I realize that proper diet and exercise is of most importance. Thank you kindly for any suggestions!
My senior cat suffers from skin allergies and her doctor prescribed omega 3 oil once a day. Is it ok to apply the oil directly in her affected skin?
Is it okay to give my cat feroglobin liquid? She is spayed and my vet told me to give her iron supplement. So is feroglobin okay or should I buy something else?
Should senior cat visits to the vet include any suggested lab tests for baseline status?
What care, other than Hills dry food, do you suggest for a JRT with dementia. Currently giving him cbd oil to calm down.
Can you recommend the most useful dose of omega 3 for my cat with cancer and advise which fish oil--cod liver, krill, salmon, algal--is best to use? Thanks.
My 20 year old female domestic shorthair was just prescribed Orbax, 1 ml/day, 20 ml oral suspension for a UTI. She is impossible to "pill" or dose with the syringe, but usually will take it in chicken broth. Today is the 3rd wasted dose and I'm starting to panic. No matter what I mix it up with, she rejects it. We hate to try to force pilling or syringe dosing because she is getting frail and we don't want to injure her. Please help! She's still doing great at 21, just stubborn. I love her
