Hi there and thank you for using Pet Coach! I recommend using a product called BioBalm by Dermoscent. Bayer makes this product and you can find this easily online. For the long hair like pieces, I usually recommend having these trimmed (there are no nerves going to these pieces and it is painless to have these trimmed back). I would recommend having this done at your veterinarian's clinic where they can trim them there using clippers or a dremmel file. Once these have been made shorter, the BioBalm can be applied 3 times daily. It may take several months for this balm to work well but I have seen cases such as Allie's dramatically improve. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Hi and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! Products that contain Pyrantel (Drontal) or Fenbendazole (Panacur) are broad spectrum deworming agents you may find over the counter at your local pet store. However, it is best if you run a fecal test with Axel's veterinarian first to determine what parasite he is infected with so the right deworming agent or combination of deworming medications can be administered. I hope this helps!

If you have proof that the dogs have a current negative heartworm test (current means a test within the last year) then you can get the product at any one of our VETCO vaccination clinics. If you do not have proof of a negative heartworm test, you can get the test done at the clinic and then you can buy the Interceptor (or any type of heartworm prevention). You can put your location into the search engine on this site: https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/clinic-locations-and-schedules/ to determine the locations and times near you for vaccines. The cost will depend on the vaccinations needed which will be determined by your dog's history and the vet's recommendations but you can look at https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/vaccination-packages-and-prices/ for some ideas on prices. You can use this link https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/lifestyle-assessment/ to help determine what vaccines Harold might need. I do not believe most locations do nail trims but you can call the store where the vaccine clinic is located to find out, often a groomer is affiliated within many of the stores and the groomer will do nail trims.
