In my personal opinion Orijen is the best commercial food on the market or at the very least a top 5 food, i have been using it for my pets for many years and have been recommending it for years as well.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I recommend Hill's Science Diet, Royal Canin, Purina and Iams/Eukanuba. These companies employ veterinary nutritionists and have above industry standards regarding quality ingredients and care to prevent contamination at their facilities. These companies are far superior than the boutique brands. Have a good day!

Limited ingredients diets are recommended for dogs that have or may have food allergies or sensitivities. Some pet parents choose to feed limited ingredient diets to their dogs to avoid preservatives and fillers.

I like Orijen dog foods. I have several patients on it that do very well. There is no one dog food that is the "best available." If you ask 10 different vets you will get 10 different opinions on which is their favorite. My favorite is whatever the pet does well on. After feeding a new food for 1 month, I recommend evaluating your pet. Do they have good energy levels? No vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation? Shiny, glossy hair coat? No flatulence? No unexpected weight loss or weight gain? If your pet is doing well, then you have selected a good food! Personally, I feed all of my pets Purina Pro Plan. I like the ingredients and the cost fits in my pet care budget. They love eating it and are very healthy on it!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I would love to help you. Orijen is indeed part of that list. For that reason, I would recommend you consider another diet. I really like Science Diet, Royal Canin and Purina as these are all good companies that conduct research on their diets. Any of those would work well for Milo as they are of high quality. Best of luck!
