Hello. I do not know what might be available in Canada, but I highly recommend looking at this website for the Veterinary Oral Health Council. Click on the Accepted Products link at the top, then on accepted products for cats. It will list everything that is truly tested to provide results. Thanks for using Boop by Petco. https://www.vohc.org

There are these amazing toys by Catit such as the senses play circuit. It's a ball on a track that cats can chase around and around on their own. They have a whole series of toys designed for solitary play, so check it out online. These may be suitable for Leo. I hope this helps!

This is a common issue since cats are nocturnal. They sleep al day and are up al night. There are a few ways to deal with this. You can lock him in a room or basement at night so he cannot disrupt you. If you do his make sure he has access to food, water and a litter box. Another way is to make sure he doesn't sleep during this day. There are many toys and stuff you can use to tire a cat out. A great one is a laser. They also have automatic lasers so you can leave it on and he can entertain himself. Here is a search looking for interactive cat toys: https://www.chewy.com/b/interactive-toys-327 Here is one for an automatic laser: https://www.chewy.com/petsafe-frolicat-dart-interactive/dp/55756 I would get the whole family involved in play during the day. I hope this helps and thank you for using Boop by Petco.

It is thought cats can see some colors though not the spectrum that humans can see. It is easier for a cat to differentiate blues, violets and yellow over reds and greens. If a cat shows a preference to a certain toy, it is likely the shape or odor that is attractive instead of color.

There are a lot of toys that cats love that you can make at home: some cats will chase a crumpled ball of paper or a pom pom, you can tie a few feathers to a stick with some string, or you can put some crinkly plastic in something like a sock. Be sure that the toys are for supervised play only. Here is a link to some ideas: https://www.worldsbestcatlitter.com/clearing-the-air/2014/03/the-10-best-homemade-cat-toys/
