Health & WellbeingMy dog is a male catahuola, i adopted him from the shelter back in august and since getting him, he has had really bad gas and has this natural stinky Oder to him. I give him a bath every two weeks. What should I do to help this?
Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. I would recommend switching to a different diet to see if this helps reduce the flatulence. Many times, excessive gas, diarrhea, vomiting or other GI symptoms can be traced back to the diet and bacterial content in the intestines. I would also consider adding in a probiotic such as Purina Fortiflora, which can be found online quite easily. Diets I recommend for most pets include Science Diet, Royal Canin, Natural Balance, and Purina One. I hope this helps!
