You can try some other type of canned food. Sometimes their tastes change and they decided they don't like what they had before. Cats can be picky. The other way to increase water consumption is to get a drinking fountain. Many cats like to drink from running water and will actually drink more if running water is constantly available. I would suggest you try this. Petco (or any large pet store) has a wide variety or drinking fountains: https://www.petco.com/shop/SearchDisplay?categoryId=&storeId=10151&catalogId=10051&langId=-1&sType=SimpleSearch&resultCatEntryType=2&showResultsPage=true&searchSource=Q&pageView=&beginIndex=0&pageSize=24&fromPageValue=search&searchTerm=drinking+fountain Hope this helps. Best wishes!

Hello and welcome to Boop by Petco. There are many safe over-the-counter worm products in the united states. You will have to check at your local store what is available, however what you are describing sounds like a round worm. This often looks like spaghetti. I suggest you look up 'round work' on the internet and if this looks like the type of worm it is, make sure you get a product that covers round worms. Most routine dewormers will for cats. The other common type of worm are tape-worms that have little segments. Milbemax is a good broad-spectrum dewormer. Best of luck with Metro.

Hello. The trend now is to feed cats primarily a wet/canned diet as cats will obtain more than 80% of their liquid requirements this way. This is because domestic cats are actually closer to their wild, desert born ancestors. Cats originally came from the desert so free, fresh water was very rare. So they depended on their "wet" prey to stay hydrated. Most veterinary nutritionist do recommend a totally wet diet to their feline patients now. If you can not switch Lila over to a completely wet diet, then offering her chicken & beef stocks or broths & occasionally tuna water may keep her drinking more. Pet fountains are also an excellent idea as it is proven that cats will drink more water if it is moving. Hope this helps thanks for using Boop by Petco.

My favorite brands of food are Acana, Origen, Lotus and Hobest Kitchen. You can see if they are available in your area. Some of the freeze dried raw diets such as honest kitchen are very palatable to picky eaters. I also find that adding fish oil and warm water to dry kibble can be very appetizing. It is also a very healthy supplement for them.
