Pancreatitis is an inflammatory condition so pain relief, fluids and antinausea medications are vital, oral medication is ok if vomiting can be controlled, if nit injectable and intravenous treatment is required. An ultra low fat diet is very important long term to reduce the severity and long term complications and scarring

Hello. Chewy does offer pharmaceutical drugs, but you will need a prescription from your veterinarian to order anything. You will need to see your vet anyway because there are no medications made specifically for rodents & the doses have to be very carefully calculated & often the medications compounded to make a safe dose for such a small pet. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Poor Gamble! Resistant ear infections can certainly be very frustrating to treat. In some cases, the compounded ear medications with several medications in them can be effective, even if the individual components are not, and there can indeed be a difference between effectiveness of oral vs topical medications. You can always ask your vet for a referral to a veterinary dermatologist if the problem persists, and your vet may also be able to consult with one over the phone through their lab about Gamble's case if you are interested in other options.

Hopefully it is the same medication, although there have been lawsuits about mislabeled and counterfeit medications with online pharmacies. Also, you do need a prescription from your veterinarian in order to purchase these products. I would recommend visiting with your veterinarian, as there is a possibility they may price match for you. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.

Hello. It sounds like Bean has an ear infection so the Baytril Otic would be used for that. Famciclovir is an anti viral medication generally used to treat feline herpes virus, a very common upper respiratory infection in cats. The Erythromycin Ophthalmic is an antibiotic for the eyes, so the vet is being very through in treating your kitties. Hopefully, everyone will be feeling better soon. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
