Hello my dog runs around people and barks and sometimes he jumps up to people trying to pet him and barks at them. It makes people scared of him and he never listens to me when I tell him to stop. I think he's doing this cause my neighbor scared him
Hi, It is important not to reward this behavior by having people pet him when he does this. Ignoring him and looking away will help show him that when he does this , he will not get pet or shown attention when this behavior is displayed. You can also try bringing Balto to a behavior training class. These are offered at some pet stores that may be near you. Hopefully he learns that when he is calm and not jumping, that is when he will be rewarded with affection.

This morning Balto seems to have something wrong in the front legs/chest/ neck area. He is slightly limping when he walks and huffs a little when he walks as if we would act with a pinched never or sore muscles. He won't turn his head to his right an
Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Balto is super handsome! Yes, I think that Balto is painful. If they have a sore neck they can have a root signature (pinched nerve) and also limp. Not wanting to do steps and jump up is common with neck or back pain. If ticks are common in your area Lyme disease is also possible. I recommend that you have Balto looked at by your Vet. They can take his temperature and do a good orthopedic exam. We can also run lyme tests in house with in 10 mins. Since he is painful I would have him examined today. I treat neck or back issues with an anti-inflammatory, a muscle relaxant and additional pain medications (tramadol or gabapentin). I hope this helps and I wish Balto a speedy recovery!

Hi. I would like to know which multivitamins should give my dog that have least of chemicals in it. I do give him b-complex capsules twice a day.
Truth be told, no pet needs multivitamins if they are on a high quality dog food. Because unlike people, pets eat a well balanced diet day in and day out; therefore supplementation without any underlying deficiency present, will lead to over-supplementation and possible negative effects. I would refrain from giving your pet any vitamins or vitamin b complex unless he has a detected iron deficiency anemia or other known deficiency that has been verified by your veterinarian. Also just to add, most true supplements don't contain any harmful chemicals. I hope that your pet Baloo does well moving forward. Best wishes and take care!

That looks more like an infection either from a bite wound, a puncture wound, a foreign body stuck under the skin or perhaps a very deep fungal infection. I recommend to have Baloo see his veterinarian today. The doctor may be able to tell what the cause is by palpation and perhaps aspiration of some fluid. Then appropriate treatment will be given. Since you and Blu-ray have an established positive relationship, you can help encourage positive interactions with other people in the house by having those other people take on certain roles in Blu-rays care. For example, other people in the family can be the ones to feed Blu-ray or spitz her with water if that’s something she enjoys. Additionally, if she has any favorite food items, then those items should be exclusively given to her by other family members. That way, she only ever received her favorite treats from the people you are hoping she will bond more with. I hope this was helpful.
