Feeding Directions Feed free choice and assure your bird always has fresh food and water. For complete nutrition, ensure any ZuPreem diet or combination of diets you feed makes up at least 80% of what your bird eats every day. Most birds consume 20% of their weight daily - adjust amounts to ensure your bird's optimum body condition. This diet has precise levels of important vitamins and minerals, supplements are not required and could be harmful. Do not leave moistened food in the cup for long periods of time.

Please tell me that FruitBlend ZuPreem is still available in 3 pound packages. I have one Senegal (Miss Nicky), and she loves the stuff but a 17.5 pound bag is way too much to buy for her at one time.
- I just checked website and they still have 3.5 lb and 12 lb. The site defaults to 17 lb, you need to change it.

New customer. How do I find items without SKU
- We have this at Petco in the 3.5 lb bag. Our sku number on that is 83030 but Petco may have a different item number.

- I think it would be fine, this is all my pionus really wants to eat, she is smaller than a Senegal.

Are you supposed to moisten the food?
- My caique solves the problem by dunking every single pellet in his water dish, and then fishing (most of) it out. Maybe if your macaw will accept things you hand feed him, you might try moistening a pellet in water (or maybe even juice, if he likes some kind of juice) and giving it to him; then once he accepts that, go the next step and dunk it in his water cup before you give it to him. I only give a tablespoon or two to my birds each day; that way, they eat most of it within a couple of days and you don't have to worry about spoilage. You wouldn't want to keep moist ("Dunked") food in the cup, of course, if your bird drops it back in his cup. But none of my birds has ever done this. They do show preferences for colors: my green-cheeked conures don't like the purple or orange pellets, and my caique doesn't like the green ones. Go figure!
