I liked the size and design. However, my conure completely destroyed this within hours. My biggest issue wasn’t the durability as birds can be destructive. My main issue was the dye used for the stars. I came home and my conures water bowl was stained blue! Also, there was yellow liquid all over from the yellow star. This really concerns me and I hope my bird didn’t ingest too much. Remember, you can’t trust all toys aimed at birds. Let this be a lesson, it sure was mine.

This toy lasted 1 day. It’s poorly built and hangs from a thin elastic. My cockatiel snapped it immediately. Didn’t take much. The floating stars fell in his water and his water turned blue due to the woods tint. I hope and pray it was food coloring and not harmful. Wasted my money on this.

I have been buying this star chew toy for both my parakeets as they never show interest in any hanging toy until I bought this one. Both of them love it. They each have 1 in their cage.

It is a very good toy that my parakeet loved but once he chewed it to a certain point he got his head in a part- if I hadn’t been there and heard him screech he would have died. It’s a good you but throw it away after they chew it to the point that there are long strings hanging.

My lovebird chewed through the plastic string the very first day that I put it in her cage. Cute toy, but had to return it since she chewed through it and broke it. Not very sturdy for lovebirds.

I question whether it's safe. I bought 1 and after rinsing it off before putting it in my bird's cage, there was a ton of colored water from the dyes in my sink.
