When should I feed my 7 1/2 senior dog food
Senior dog hesitate to eat food
My 12-year-old Goldendoodle has been losing weight recently and I have a vet appointment scheduled but I was wondering if you could recommend a new type of food/food topper/supplement that would help him put on some weight? He has always been on the smaller size (never heavier than 70lbs) and I am just worried about him losing weight. We have been putting cheese and chicken on his current food (Iams ProActive Health Adult Chunks) and he seems to like that but I would like to find a better option
I have a 12 year old Retriever/Labrador, female dog that has been on a diet of Lamb and Rice coupled with Dinovite...about 1.5 tblsp. Do you recommend switching her to a Senior diet and if so what ingredients or brand of food do you recommend? Lucy is very healthy but has some Arthritis in her hind knees.....I give her 3 tablets of Cosequine DS each day with her food which seems to help. thank you, Frank Villars
I found Prosense vitamins for dogs (attached pictures), is this a good vitamin source for all 3 of my dogs? One of the pictures has a list of some ingredients.
The dog food we are feeding them has glocoteme (the hip stuff I am positive I spelled it wrong bare with me) and Linetos acid. One should I add a joint support along with? My buddy, Peanut, is a senior of 10 years. He is very healthy, but I would like know what, if any supplements I could give Peanut to aid in him while aging. What should I look for? What should I avoid? I want the most scientifically advanced, proven supplement available.
