My cats were a bit indifferent to this meal topper. They both ate it and the color and smell were exactly as expected but the texture was very hard which I don't think they liked. I was hoping it would be an exciting treat for them but that did not seem to be the case so I have not purchased any more. I think it would be better for cats who eat wet food as it could be mixed in.

I have a very picky eater so I was delighted when she gobbled up the sample of Whole Hearted Tuna Jerky topper! I have since bought more and she loves it. I am so happy since I have wasted lots of money on stuff she will not touch!

I'm not sure what to say. Normally my cats love any and all treats. They did not like this unfortunately. They would sniff and smell it. They tried a little bit but would not continue eating it. Even as a topper they ate everywhere around where it was. It does have had a hard, crunchy texture, which might have been the issue.

My cats absolutely loved this product, they ate it right up within minutes and cannot seem to get enough. Highly highly recommended!! Very cheap as well and a great selection of flavors as well. Try it out!

I have received the Wholehearted tuna jerky shreds at no cost in exchange for submitting an independent review. I have a five year old torbie, a year old tortie and a 10 month old Maine Coon. They all like the torbie’s prescription kibble, but I have been trying to find appealing food for the other two that doesn’t bust the food budget. I was interested in finding out if this topper might encourage them to eat regular kibble. It comes both shredded and more like a heavy grounded size. There is a smell of dried tuna. I have included a picture with some kibble for size comparison. Also included is a picture of the bag after the Maine Coon pushed it off the counter and tore the bag apart. They do like it on the kibble, but it isn’t the race to the food dish I hoped for. I will continue to use it as a treat on occasion. I think it probably would do a bit better on wet food, as it could stick to it.

I like to add a little something to my cat’s dinner because he nibbles on his dry food throughout the day. The first day he tried the Turkey Jerky flavor, he ate it right up without even any pause to sniff the new smells. Within the week he had stolen it off the counter and I had to change where I kept the bag!

The first thing that came to my mind was this was the cat version of bacon bits to add to your meals. My cats really liked this and it helped with getting my older cat to start eating a little more which I was ecstatic about. Just a little sprinkle over their dry food was a game changer. Will definitely buy again and try some other flavors.

All 3 of my cats LOVE this food supplement. It smells and tastes like real tuna, so they can smell it as soon as I open the resealable container, and what cat doesn't love tuna? I've never seen them so excited about meal time. And the bits are so small that even my senior kitty, who only eats canned food, likes the tiny, crunchy bits.
