So I took in a stray that is at least five years old and has rather obviously had it rough. I am keeping him segregated and also set up a cat condo for him in said room, which he tends to stay in, sleeping (the condo, I mean). I bought him this nice, plush self warming bed that he is absolutely rejecting. Seriously, he'd rather sleep on bare floor than this bed. But he'll rub on it and lean against it to sleep. Why does my guy hate his bed? *note, I have provided him with soft blankets he loves.
Will my 6 month old kitten grow out of playing in her litter box? It's so unsanitary. We got her a tower recently that she doesn't even touch, plus lots of boxes for her to play in. How can I get her to use cat tower more? Feliway doesn't seem to work.
My cat is super active at night for a few days, she keeps scratching the sofa and running around. She is spayed. We have two scratching cardboards and a cat tree for her. We just moved to a new apartment for 3 weeks and she seems accommodating quite well for the new environment.
Hey there! I've got a large Ragdoll (we think) cat that is roughly 10 years old who stopped using his litterbox for anything other than urine starting about 6 weeks ago. Always at night, when we're asleep, usually every 2-4 days, he goes on a binge poop, dropping of "presents" (ranging from hard/dry to wet/soft) on our front porch mat, my office rug, the hardwood floors along a wall, by the litterbox, on the rug by his feeder. No changes to clean litter situation or diet in over a year.
SO i am thinking about getting a leopard gecko, but i am not spending a ridiculous amount of money on a cage so i am using a plastic laundrey hamper that seems about maybe 10 gallons and i am setting up little hiddy spots and stuff but i dont know wha tbeedding i should use and how much light they need please hep :)
new 2 yr old cat Had for 4 days, first in bathroom with all toys and trinkets. She got out peed on rug in hallway, ran under bed in bedroom so I moved stuff there and she was bet. Got fellway. Took to spca vet who diagnosed cat flu. Two problems 1. Wont come out from under bed since disaster try to give liquid med this am. Why does my hamster sleep in the corner when I’ve provided her a hide out? I got her a bin cage and the first night she used the hide out then started pushing it out the corner and sleeping right next to it. She also stuffs the hide out with bedding. I try to encourage her to use it but taking the bedding out but she just stuffs it back.
