List of the best bird foods for parakeets
My cockatiel has been eating Leferber’s Premium Daily Diet pellets as a staple diet. She’s also been eating broccoli everyday. I also give her a bit of crushed eggshells once or twice a week. She has a cuttlebone available at all times. I’m wondering if this would be an okay product to give her? She isn’t much of a veggie eater. Will this be beneficial or unnecessary for her? I’m including the details of the product in attached photos. I do feed her some seeds as a treat sometimes. Thank you.
Is there a good high calorie supplement, vitamin or food that I can offer my seed junkie parakeet? She scored a poor body condition, was described as thin at her exam. Currently taking Metacam for an ouchy foot.
I have two adopted parakeets. I have tried introducing dried fruit, fresh fruit and even millet seeds. They only are interested in regular bird seed. What can i do? It's been months. Thank you
What food should I be buying for my budgie, so that I do not need to buy a separate vitamin liquid or powder?
How would you know what type of food is best for your Budgie? Also what should I always keep a millet stick in their cage?
I have two parakeets and one is acting weird it started to change like it isn’t as friendly and the other one and so friendly. I also need answers on what’s safe to have them eat for a treat or for fruits, are like freeze dried strawberries ok? Or anything else I just really need answers.
What toys are the best for parakeets
my pet cockateil petre dose not really have a treat food ive tried millet sun flower seeds ect and i can take him out of his cage on a stick but he resists i use a stick because he bites but once i have him out he will let me scratch him sometimes when hes ready when i do this he enjoys it but makes a screeching sound and bites lightly every so often when scratching . his history seemed rough this is why i think he is like this but this is what i know. I have some questions about this (For rabbits)Oxbow Natural Science Multi-Vitamin Small Animal Supplements 1. Are these for every day? Or just a treat ever so often? 2. What does this help with? 3. Does this even help with much or should I not get these? And I also have questions about the other ones too. The Oxbow Natural Science Skin & Coat Small Animal Supplement. 1. Are these for ever day or just a treat? 2. Would this help with prevent fleas, ticks, sore hocks, and dry skin? Thank you;)
I have a pet rat and I have tried many different wood stick chewing products. She will chew on them only when they are fresh and she only chews very little. Her main diet is Higgins Sunburst Rat and Mouse food which has hard nuts and other foods. Will that be enough to keep her teeth trimmed down? Do you have any suggestions? She tends to be a little picky.
Hello. I am curious and would like to know, are there any brands that sell tasty treats for hamsters? And what they are called? Currently I use living worlds donut treats. Are these good treats or are there other treats that I can try?
