One of my rabbits had babies, 7 of them, 3 died to the lack of milk produced by the mamma so ive decided to take them in , what milk is best for them?
Can we give baby rabbits powder milk the pet shop from which I would buy kitten milk has no more pls can baby rabbits drink powder milk
I have a abandoned 3 week old kitten. I was feeding him KMR liquid. But he started having orangish diarrhea. I started mixing 1/3 parts of Pedialyte with it, but no change. Today I started him on goat milk. Is there anything else I should do? He is very alert. No signs of dehydration. About 9 ozs. Weight gain is slow, but I'm attributing this to the diarrhea. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Pixie has devlivered 2 healthy kittens they are two days old. The little boy weighs 160grams The little girl weighs 100grams So there is quite an obvious difference in weight and size I have a concern that the biggest is pushing the little one away from the nipple during feeds. I have heard about using kitten replacement powder but can’t get any at the moment due to the pet shop being closed. What can I use as a teperary measure?
I found a 2 weeks old (probably) orphaned kitten. I don't have access to goat milk or cat milk or kmr. So i fed it powdered milk powder instead. What should i give it for next few days until i get knr? And i didn't deficate the 2 days I've been watching it but has urinated 3-4 times. Is it normal?
Hova is 5 months old. She's much smaller than her brother. She's around 1.5 kg. She just got out of a really long and difficult health situation (Panleukopenia and Cerebellar Hypoplasia). I'm feeding her Royal Canin Recovery wet food (as per vet instructions). How much should i feed her so she can regain her weight? I don't have a scale, but i have measuring cups.
My 6 week old foster kitten Cheerio has had a very poor appetite the last few days. She loves KMR, but it causes her to have bad diarrhea. I've tried wet food, but she eats very little and she's losing weight fast. I've tried small amounts of pumpkin, goat's milk... Nothing seems to encourage her appetite. She went from 680 grams to 630 in less than half a day. She has been her usual feisty self aside from these problems, but I can almost see her ribs. Please help!
My cat just had her kittens yesterday gave birth to 7 she is very skinny and has not much milk and the kittens are healthy just to make sure we got milk replacement, if we give it to the mom will she turn that milk into her milk?
