I recommend this product a must have if you have a puppy or a dog who has diarrhea it will clean and remove all odors but you have to clean mess up first

Product quality may be good, but small-print information on the bottle (too late if already ordered) that it CANNOT be used on WOOL CARPETS or LEATHER FURNITURE, is not clearly defined before your customeer makes a buying decision. The 'regular' or 'original' Simple Solution makes no such disclaimer - further alienating those customes that have previously used the 'regular' formula (that includes ourselves). Better labeling should be a priority. By the way - good luck on telling your dogs the difference between wool carpet and nylon carpet - they will just wag their tail at you. -

It does remove most if the stains but it doesnt help with the no remarking part. My puppies still go in the same place even after using this multiple times.

We had a friend visiting with a 70 lb. lab. Unfortunately, the dog had major diarrhea in the middle of the night. We had a couple of large stains on the carpet the next morning. Once they wiped up what could be done. It may have been a little rubbed into the carpet. After some research, we used Simple Method Extreme Stain & Odor Remover that afternoon. We did have to do a few treatments. We determined it was safe for the carpet after the first treatment, we left it on longer than recommended the next times but didn't let it dry before blotting the stains. We've used other products for less damaging stains and they didn't do as well. We can still see the stains very faintly in sunlight but it removed the stains!

I would keep her away from it if at all possible as two of the ingredients are an ethanol based chemical and detergent.
