First and foremost, the hat's lack of stability was a major disappointment. Despite its seemingly secure strap around the ears, I found that the hat constantly slipped off, regardless of whether it was worn by my dog or even my cat. This lack of sturdiness significantly detracted from its functionality and practicality, especially during outdoor activities where a secure fit is essential. I must admit that the design of the hat is undeniably cute, this alone couldn't compensate for its fundamental flaw. The strap around the ear, which appears to be the primary mechanism for holding the hat in place, simply doesn't fulfill its intended purpose effectively. In conclusion, while the hat may appeal to pet owners seeking to accessorize their furry friends with a stylish hat, its inherent lack of stability renders it unsuitable for practical use.

The hat is of good quality and is easy to put (and keep) on your dogs. The XL size has plenty of room for even the largest of dogs, however, it does look comically small on them. The straps fit around the ears and don't seem to cause my dogs any discomfort. If there was an XXL, it'd be perfect.
