Our Belgian Malinois has no digestive problems and eats everything we give her. We switched from a more economical dog food to the Purina Pro Plan Cognitive Health brand because it has been proven to be a high quality whole dog food in feeding trials. There are a lot of choices of dog food, some of which make claims of improved heath or more wholistic nutrition for dogs which are unproven claims . We appreciate the research that went into the Purina brand dog foods. Our dog doesn’t know and would eat anything: she happens to very much like the Purina Pro Plan

This food was recommended by our vet to help with anxiety/cognitive issues with our 16 year old puggle. I noticed a decline in his anxiety issues within a month. Unfortunately we list him to a tumor pressing on his spinal cord, but I really think this food helped in the later stages of his life. I still have a partial bag left, so we'll see how the 5 year old pit mix does on this!

I have fed my dogs Purina all of my life. I recently rescued a Great Pyrenees mix. Bringing him into my home, I was Leary as to if this new dog would like what I'm already feeding. I shouldn't have had any doubt. They all love Purina! Thank you for all of your hard work. Carol Black

This product contains corn gluten which did not seem to be digested. I changed to a diet of freeze dried raw food designed for seniors. His poop has improved considerably.

Does this formula contain any pork (in the way of natural flavor, fat or other ingredients)? I know many of your savor flavors now use Beef tallow which in my opinion is better!
