I have an older yellow lab that gets bored really easily. He gets bored with kongs and is an extreme chewer so rawhides or other chewies disappear SUPER fast! He is very intelligent and I was thinking of getting him a puzzle toy that involves treats as he is EXTREMELY food motivated! Since he's so smart should I still start him on the most basic puzzle or try something harder? I don't want to waste money on toys he'll go through really fast. And are there any other sorts of toys you can suggest?
My cats chew and shred paper and cardboard incessantly. Help!
I am a dog home boarder and have a therapy dog staying but I cannot get her to join in games do therapy dogs play differently any game suggestions - 9 yr old kcspaniel thank you
Our 11 month old puppy is high energy and loves to play fetch. During a game of fetch he will get a scent and will run all over the yard with his nose to the ground, snorting and tail wagging. My question is there agility type of games for dogs who love to trace a scent?
Gibbs my new 1yr old cat, he's familiar with the pink round platform ball trackor on the left. Because he had one to play with at the Northshore Animal League. At 1st he's would pounce the scratch not understanding he could scratch it as well, until I pour a little catnip on it..its organic, but wondering if it's alright brand? Or if there is a better idea to help him also understand vertical scratch post as well. as you can see he understands, he's not grasping vertical post besides walls/sofa
My cat keeps cheating at Mario Kart 64. She keeps using the shortcuts in Wario Stadium and Rainbow Road. What can I do
I currently have two cats (the mother, Carrot and her daughter, Rose) who gave birth only 5 days away. the issue I'm having is the mother keeps trying to combine her kittens with her grandchilren(?
My sister, parents, and I are all very busy people, and while we manage to take Conan for a walk most days, and there’s almost always someone home with him, I feel like he’s not getting enough mental and physical stimulation. He’s still young and very energetic. He’s not super interested in kibble-dispensers, unless there are HIGH quality treats, because he’s never been very food-motivated. Do you have any recommendations for energy-burning games or brain stimulating toys for him?
Could you suggest some outdoor games other fetch to exercise as well as entertain Mike?
This question might be hard to answet, but if anyone knows, I would appreciate it! My older cat Dusty does not get along with my other kitten Nala. Nala likes to chase Dusty or hit him. For some reason, Dusty likes to roll around on the ground in a playful way while she is in pouncing position. But when she does pounce him, he gets very upset and hits her or runs away. My question is why does he roll around on the floor? Does he secretly like playing with her? I attached photos. Thanks!
ok so my cat eats silly and often dangerous things he is also fussy about the foods he will eat, ive tried everything i can find to get him to stop he has a massive play centre, puzzle treat dispensers, more toys than he could ever play with, food an water all over the place, he only likes spending time with me we got another cat for some company for him but had to rehome it because he bullied it non-stop. I just dont know what to do everything ive read says it stress but nothing works...
Hello. I have two cats. One likes to play with balls and chase small toys; whereas the other one only likes to play with pointers. I have read some opinions against this way to entertain the cats because they argue that it can stress the animals and generate anxiety when they don't receive rewards for their actions. I would like to hear an authorized opinion. Thanks!
