Using extra-large pads for a pack of little dogs.

Paul Fanning

We use the extra-large pooch pad spread over the bathroom floor for our little dog pack. I also use 2 large and 2 medium pads to fill in. I change them 2 to 3 times a day. This works well for our little rescues. I find I get almost a year's use before I need to replace them. This sure beats the "throw away" kind.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Shipping not great, product wonderful

The shipping box inside and out was terribly mishandled, it this was a gift I would have had to return it. However these pads are amazing. Great quality and nice neutral color. We use them for under our dogs food and water bowl because he likes to pick his food up and lay it on the floor before eating it. I love that it's washable and I can keep the area sanitary by rotating the 2 pads!

Yes, I recommend this product.

These reusable pee pads are wonderful. They are plenty absorbent and can hold several pee sessions before washing. I run them through a rinse cycle (with a little detergent) alone before washing them with my towels, adding an extra rinse at the end. I hang them on the clothesline to dry. The larger size is better for our pup.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Best potty pads on the market

LibbytheIggy

These are the best washable potty pads on the market. The large size and XL size are best for my needs with 2 senior Italian greyhounds. I bought these to replace those that I bought 6 years ago. These last and wash well. I knew it was time to replace them when the smell started coming back. I wash these at least weekly so the 300-ish washes before replacement is accurate.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Poochpads in training

I think it is working very well. My only issue is that it slides on my floor too easy. Will have to find a way to stop it as this does create a safety issue for us and our 8 fur babies. I have smooth surface flooring. Haven't washed it yet so will see how that turns out before making any more comments.

No, I do not recommend this product.

review for PoochPads reusable housebreaking pad

Becky48

I've used these pads for my pups for a long time. I lay the pads on a kennel plastic liner and keep an old towel under the pad... stays in place. All five pups love them. I do put either a little bit of vinegar or baking soda in the wash too. Helps them smell fresh

Yes, I recommend this product.

Can you freeze this item without ruining it?

  1. I'm not quite sure why you want to freeze this item although I do not believe that would ruin it. It would be like freezing any other material, blanket, etc.

how many medium PoochPads are in the box?

  1. There are 2 pads.

How many pads come in a package?

Are these reusable pads good for poo poo accidents?

    1. They work fine for all accidents....

How to attached PoochPads Reusable Housebreaking Pad to the hradwood floor? Dose it slide on the floor?

    1. It slides a bit, but not too bad.

Do these slide around? What keeps them stationary on wood or tile floor?

    1. On tile or wood flooring we have always put a small throw rug under the pad. This adds stability to the pad.

Do the pads sit on the floor with the side up as pictured? Thanks.

    1. YES.

Are there any health risks in washing reusable pooch pads with regular laundry?

    1. Wash on hot, with a load of cleaning rags and dish towels. Use Oxyclean to make sure you get everything smelling nice.

what attracts the dog to use pad instead of floor or carpet

    1. Next time you find a urine spot, soak the pad in it to get the scent. Then place the pad where you want the dog to go. If you notice the dog showing interest in the pad, use "Go potty!" or whatever your command is. If the dog goes on the pad, give a treat and say "Good potty!" Dogs are pretty smart, they'll figure it out fast.

How often do these have to be washed and are puppies attracked to them?

    1. I WASH MINE EVERYDAY BECAUES MY DOGS ALSO DO NUMBER 2 ON THEM.
