My dog has been prescribed Apoquel for her atopic dermatitis, but I am wanting to use an over-the-counter medication as the Apoquel is very costly. Could I used Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride?
Hi I've got Cetrizine hydrochloride 10mg tablets for my 9.6kg pug for seasonal allergies. I've been told to give a 10mg tablet 3 times a day but it seems that other sources say 20mg is the max amount to be given. What is correct ?!

My dog ate 60mg of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. I gave him 2 tsp of hydrogen peroxide but it was old and ineffective. He has no symptoms but it was a slow release Reactine tablet (half of one). He is 30 lbs. Thank you.

breathing is fine. My vet said to give him 4 and a half 25mg tablets of Diphenhydramine. She acknowledged that this may seem high, but they wanted to give a heads dose at first and later just give 2 and a half tablets if the hives look better. I just wanted to double check the dose. Hello, Among other treatments for her skin, my veterinarian recommended that I give mollie a 10mg tablet of Zyrtec twice a day. She weighs 17.1 lbs. when I researched it, it seems like this is a very high dose for her. Should I do only 1/2 a tablet twice a day? Thanks!
