Does my cats wound need antibiotics, I do spray it daily with antibacterial cat spray.
Pet had skin die off, back rt foot (after severe abscess in back rt hip threatened amputate) Vet removed dead, new skin growth underneath. This left atleast 50% of exposed flesh, the other has new skin growth. Antibiocs & cleaning w/chlorhexidine 2xs a day.(metacam 1x day for 2 day.)With cleaning and limited mobility still seems impossible to keep clean, constantly finding dirt/debris, misc stuck to raw skin. Is there a safe way to cover wound while also letting it breathe for healing purposes?
Can I spray bitter apple on a hotspot? Or on a wound?
My pet cat had cut his paw. The vet shop has given a topical wound healing spray and an antibiotic syrup (Cefpodoxime proxetil oral suspension IP) and has prescribed a 1mL twice a day dosage. Is this a good treatment? (the yellow marks are from an ayurvedic ointment I had applied as first aid so please ignore it)
Cat has open wound near tail, I cleaned it with vetercyn vf wound spray and have her on a cone should i seal the wound (its not bleeding or anything) or should i let it breathe. I have a pet wound liquid sealer. Top Performance MediStyp Liquid Super Sealer.
My cat has a wound about 1/2 inch in diameter. It doesn't look infected but she is licking it a lot. We have a cone we can put on her, but I need to know if we can use Viaderm-K.C. Cream on it which we have left over from our now deceased dog. Also can we use Germi-Stat Gel 4%? We will take her to the vet at any sign of infection, or if not healing.
My dog Hitch has fleas and getting meds tomorrow, but he chewed a raw spot and I put an apple cider vinegar spray on him but I think it hurt him. Can I put an antibacterial ointment on him?
What’s the best way to treat the cut on my dog’s paw? We’ve been spraying it with the skin spray (pictured), bandages and wraps and doing our best to keep him from licking it. The inflatable donut was ineffective so we’ll pick up a cone today. Thanks in advance!
I've started spraying animal spray on his wound and also giving him oral antibiotics. How many days should I wait for his wound to heal? Please help
My cat usually goes out for evening walks. Last night he has returned with what looks like a bite from another cat (sure it's a cat fight because yesterday I had seen a cat which usually fights with mine near my house). The pet shop has prescribed an antibiotic (Cefpodoxime proxetil oral suspension IP) , an ayurvedic wound healer spray (which had worked quite well previously for cuts and wounds) and another medicine for reducing the pain (Meloxicam Oral Suspension IP). Is this a good treatment?
First for all I am really thankful to the "Petcoach" team for spontaneous response when my kitty was struggling which help me to take a better decision. She is now 80 perc. recovered and able to walk but there are two three wounds not major but water like liquid is coming out of that, could you please assist what could be the best treatment would be. As of Im cleaning the wound with "Hydrogen peroxide", and using Iodine liquid as giving her antibiotic syrup. Thanks and regards, Rahul
The vet gave me gentocin topical spray for my husky. She has raw spots all over her body . I bought natures care hot spot and itch relief . Which is better for her? The gentocin has alcohol in it and she screams when I put it on her
