Pet had skin die off, back rt foot (after severe abscess in back rt hip threatened amputate) Vet removed dead, new skin growth underneath. This left atleast 50% of exposed flesh, the other has new skin growth. Antibiocs & cleaning w/chlorhexidine 2xs a day.(metacam 1x day for 2 day.)With cleaning and limited mobility still seems impossible to keep clean, constantly finding dirt/debris, misc stuck to raw skin. Is there a safe way to cover wound while also letting it breathe for healing purposes?
My dog Hitch has fleas and getting meds tomorrow, but he chewed a raw spot and I put an apple cider vinegar spray on him but I think it hurt him. Can I put an antibacterial ointment on him?
What’s the best way to treat the cut on my dog’s paw? We’ve been spraying it with the skin spray (pictured), bandages and wraps and doing our best to keep him from licking it. The inflatable donut was ineffective so we’ll pick up a cone today. Thanks in advance!
My 2 year old dog is allergic to fleas and had this wound on his right hind leg and his front right leg , I have been to my vet they gave him medicine for it but did not put a cone on him and it was all cleared up , but now it’s there again and he keep reopening it so until I get in with me vet again what do I do to clean it out
Is peroxide and antibiotic ointment allowed to be used on a cat for a small wound
My pet has skin allergy..all tym he has itching problem..name of a medicated spray which prevent itching problem
I took my dog to the vet Friday morning and he prescribed amoxicillin/clav, 875 milligrams split in half, half twice a day and 5 milligrams prednisone, one a day for 7 days, he said it should be feeling better in a couple days. He keeps rubbing it to where it starts to bleed. I now have to put an e collar on him. Is there anything else I can put on the wound to help heal it. I can’t afford to keep running him back to the vets. I don’t even know what it is. I’m thinking a hot spot
My dog has tumor rectum will cleaning the wounds by hydrogen peroxide will help to heal the wound?
My dog has a reoccurring wound on her mind leg that usually I can heal but this time I can't , I tried peroxide & Bactracin & several other things...it is not gushing blood but is seeping & appears to he infected...is there anything you can suggest I may do to remeby her as I am very short if funds & just cannot at this time take her to the vet
He has this under his armpit and my mom thinks it’s from GenOne topical Spray but I don’t spray it under there, it would go on his back legs because he would lick it. But, now it, his armpit, has pus coming out of it and she wants to put something called hypagence, I didn’t spell it right, but do you think that is safe? Plus she doesn’t want to take him to the vet so that wouldn’t even be a choice.
My dog ripped his nail off. Bleeding is stopped but it's broke right down to his hair and his quik is very exposed. Idon't have much antibiotics to wrap it up till tomorrow. But I have something called woun'dres - collagen hydrogel wound dressing. And another thing called iodosorb- cadexomer iodine ointment. Can i use ether for the night?Should I even wrap it?
My dog has a penis inflammation problem and I need some type of medicine or spray
