We bought this same bed, same item # and sku last year. We really liked it and just bought a second one to have on hand. I first went to the store and looked at it and saw that the cover was “shinier” with no “nap”. So I ordered on line again. The quality is not as good as the one we bought last year (exact same item # and SKU). The cover has no nap and is not taut on the insert/pillow. It is ill fitting and the foam insert is not as firm as last years. This is supposed to be an orthopedic bed and was very expensive. Very disappointing….

I needed a new dog bed for my golden retriever's crate as her old one got folded weird because she'd often push it aside to not lay on it (may have made her hot). At first, I was hesitant to spend this much money on a crate bed, I'm glad I did because she LOVES this new one. She's not required to go in the crate, but I kept it because she likes it. I've noticed a big change in the volume of time she choses to sleep in her crate vs on the couch. It feels like a memory foam cooling pillow to the touch. Highly recommend.

This bed is amazing for my large breed dogs. They are incredibly comfortable, as well as seemingly more energetic after a nap on this bed. They love napping on it, and it fits wonderfully in their crate.

I’ve bought these in smaller sizes and they were great! Nice, thick, firm and orthopedic feeling. Firm for my senior dog with arthritis to step unto without it sinking right down and sleep on. I needed a large size one (35”) and walked right to the back of the store confidently knowing what I was after and went to grab it off the shelf and it smooshed right down in my hand. I couldn’t believe it and thought maybe that one had just been tested/squished a lot so I tried other ones the same size and they all smooshed right down immediately to flat. Like the cheaper ones do. The black one was firmer but still not firm like the smaller ones and definitely not enough for the price. The weird thing is I squeezed the XS and Medium grey ones and they were thick and firm like the ones I have at home. What? I ended up getting the teal one. It was the firmest. It has egg crate on the top which I usually think isn’t as great because it is less firm, but the teal has all the the firmness then just some egg crate foam on the top. Not like the ones on the giant online retailer-the teal one is good and thick and firm. Happy with the teal one for now (we just got it and hour ago) but this grey model does not cut the mustard for a thick, firm crate bed.

I already have a dog bed in my dog’s kennel, so I just use this as an extra bed in the living room. He absolutely loves it. He lays on it all the time. The fabric has held up really well, though I haven’t caught him trying to rip it up, which was a problem with other mattress pads in the past. I did test it and it fits our XL kennel perfectly. I haven’t tried washing the removable cover yet, but I love that I have the ability to, as it is a bit dirty from use over the past few months.

Perfect to use as an extra dog bed. My baby doggy Nova loves it. Kinda confused about it at first, but now she can’t stay off of it. After a long day of play that’s the first place she loves to lay…..

It does not quite fit in the crate but it is very comfy. A little noisy when he moves around on it but he sleeps very comfortably. Very light and squishy. True to water resistant - Winston accidentally peed on it and it came right off, leaving no mess or smell.

I've got to say, I'm impressed. I didn’t order this for a crate. I got it because my dog needed a comfy pad for sleeping in my sewing room. Almost immediately, my cat claimed this, and like all cats, she has a habit of making messes. I was so disappointed that she managed to yack up a hairball on this bed before I could get some good shots of my dog enjoying it. This was a blessing in disguise, though. I was able to test the waterproof cover. It works! The mess did not go into the inner cushion. I also checked the machine washability of this. The cover easily unzipped, washed, and tumble dried. My dog was finally able to enjoy her nice, clean bed. I'm so pleased with it. She's a 60 lb. Pitbull, and there's plenty of room for her to relax on this.
