I gave my cat 2 capstars and almost a week ago gave her the first month treatment of advantage 2. I still see a very very few fleas so can I give her one more capstar or would that be harmful

5 week puppy won't swallow capstar. I mixed it with puppy milk and gave in a syringe. Will it still be effective? Also, I gave half of a capstar to one of the puppies since he is less than 2lbs (but close). Will this kill the fleas off of him since I gave half? Bringing them both home tomorrow and need them to be flea free. Is crushing the pill and mixing with milk in syringe a good way to give it to them?
