My dog has a mast cell tumor on the back of his leg that is being treated (palliative care) with chemo therapy, prednisone and benadryl. However, after those medications, his leg is still so swollen and he seems like he is in pain/very lethargic. His groin is also quite bruised. Can I apply a cold or hot compress for the swelling? Is there anything else I can do?

14 plus year old female dog about 40 lbs is losing muscle in hind legs and having increasing difficulty standing and walking although she still can. I notice amazon sells rear led braces. Should we try those? Or is there something else you recommend. She takes gabapentin and canna-pet for pain.

Service dog (boxer/Shepherd mix?) Limping badly left rear leg. First time was right rear leg last winter, vet couldn't find cause but thought soft tissue injury likely, took 1.5 month to heal. Now it's the rear left leg, happens off and on but now seems severe. Worse both after rest and after activity. Jumping and stairs seem hardest. Started supplements a few weeks ago but it's gotten worse. In pain, not eating as much and doesn't want to go outside, especially on stairs to get in or out.
Can you recommend a joint supplement for my senior dog? There are so many to choose from. He’s a 13 year old chiweenie. Half dachshund and half chihuahua. He is 6 pounds and he’s seems to be getting really stiff and has arthritis. I’m hoping that some glucosamine or joint supplements may help. Something I should try that is available in Canada or on Amazon. Thanks
