Place Pet Therapy Wrap over the dog's shoulders. Adjust top straps to equally position wrap over shoulders. Secure wrap around each front leg with attached strap. Adjust and pull all straps for secure fit. Thread the front chest Velcro strap through buckle and fasten to opposite side.

Would this help with tenocynovitis in my Lab’s front shoulder? It won’t cure it, I know, but might it help...along with the pain management protocol. My Lab is 12.
- I guess the 3 questions are: (1) Will cold help? I assume it's a form of tenosynovitis that cold will help with since you're here. (2) Is the affected tendon superficial enough for the cold to get to it? I'd check with her vet for this one before you spend the money. My dog had a torn tendon in her shoulder that her surgeon said was too deep in the joint for the cold of an ice pack to penetrate. I used this for her anyways at the advice of her PT but didn't have noticeable improvement in her pain. (3) Will this wrap hold the ice pack in the place you need? From my experience, depending on how you adjust it, the wrap can hold an ice pack securely over the trapezius/deltoid/triceps regions in my 60lb lab. If I'm understanding correctly the area you'd need to ice is at the front of the shoulder (maybe the biceps tendon?). I think you may have more difficulty getting this wrap to hold the ice pack there, but perhaps someone else who has tried can say for sure. Hope this helps and that your dog feels better

I have 2 questions. 1) I have a 60 lb pit/mix and was wondering if a medium would fit her. 2) I need to restrict shoulder mobility because of soft tissue damage she has. Would this help reduce her mobility so that she can't full on walk out or run out?

I’ve read online to put and ice pack or something warm on a dogs sprained leg which one should I use?
My dog has a mast cell tumor on the back of his leg that is being treated (palliative care) with chemo therapy, prednisone and benadryl. However, after those medications, his leg is still so swollen and he seems like he is in pain/very lethargic. His groin is also quite bruised. Can I apply a cold or hot compress for the swelling? Is there anything else I can do?
Whats the case of this dog’s shoulder
My 13 yr old Blue heeler started limping on her R front leg a few weeks ago. She had some swelling behind her metatarsals so I ordered a velcro wrap to give her extra support for a sprain. Although the wrap and rest has helped and the swelling is gone from that area, she is very tender with a little swelling over the medial carpal and the last couple days she has been licking at it. I still think its a sprain, but would a splint and more rest be the way to go?

Hi! Rocco was running down the driveway today and all of a sudden started limping. It is his right front leg, and it seems like the pain is in his shoulder. When you push his shoulder inwards he cries... Outward is okay though. Is there anything I can do for the pain and swelling/inflammation? I was trying to ice it, but he doesn't like the cold. Is there anything I could give him? I don't want him to be in pain, but I don't want him to injure it more if he can't feel the pain. Ideas? Thanks!
Phoebe hurt her shoulder and/or leg yesterday. Not sure from what. She stands on okay, but she does favor it when she walks. She takes Metacam already for arthritis. I'm not sure if this is arthritis now. I pressed around on her leg and it didn't bother her. It doesn't seem like a fracture if she was okay with me pressing on it. Whenever I had fractures, it hurt to press on it. Her paw looks okay too. Is there something I can do for her until the vet (on Wednesday)? Ice? Heat? Something else?
What is a safe hair gel for my dog
