What effect do calming tablets - like the herbal tablets that "reduce problem behaviour" and are used to calm pets in situations like vet visits, fireworks, travelling, and so on - and calming sprays have on cats? Are they likely to help deal with a cat in heat? (I have Beaphar Calming Tablets and Home Spray. Is there a better brand of calming meds?) Thanks.

So I have two dauschunds one has a bit of anxiety when it comes to loud noises. With Fourth of July coming up what is best to give her? I have heard Benadryl or melatonin. Which is better for them?

Pitbull terrier was prescribed Panalog for ear infection today. Gave dose (maybe a bit more than I should in 1 ear) and dog shook a lot out. He was shaking his head a lot and panting afterwards. I gave benadryl (50mg) to help him with scratching & sleep. He calmed down and Slept an hr. But he's awake and has been periodically shaking his head/scratching since then and can't get comfortable enough to sleep. What to do?

Hi, I have a Yorkshire terrier, she is just over 6lbs, who will be flying with me on an airplane. She is my emotional support animal but after recently flying I believe she needs the support. She has terrible anxiety and we will be flying to Florida which is about a 2 hour flight. What can I give her to keep her from shaking and panting the whole flight? Hello! My dog is very very scared of thundestorms. He starts shaking and he doesnt stop until it stops raining. When the thunderstorms are louder, he even drools and ends up really tired (but he was lying down on the bed). Please, can you help me? Im not sure what to do.
