We have two German Shepherd puppies from the same litter and if they are separated one of them is fine and the other one freaks out and howls and whines the whole time! What should we do?
17 yo male cat goes outdoors during summer recently began demanding more food. Loss of teeth so eats wet food. Howls at night and sometimes during day. Increased urination (I think, as it's been cold outside not going out) howls at midnight, 0500,1700 for food. Skittish. Thank you
For the last 9 - 10 month, my 11 year old neutered cat has been eating more and more. He isn't gaining weight or losing it. He howls when he wants more food. I offer wet and dry food. He will eat some dry food but mostly wet.
Hi, I have a 11 months old male cat. He is very adorable but lately he started going out and fights with other street cats.He became very aggressive and howls a lot if we don't let him out. We never let him out since he was small but lately his behaviour is haunting us.Late nights meow's howls ,fighting with other cats and ost important disturbing neighbours. My question is will neutering him will stop this behaviour? Will he be at home after neutering?
So my cat has been weird when we touch near his tail. Sometime placing hand there will cause a reaction other times a hard scritch. Sometimes no reaction at all. He reacts like a female cat when aroused licking the air and somtimes his side. Never the same side. He made quite distinct howl when my sister tested him and it was the only time. I know his pain howls in the depth of my soul ( he nearly died twice when he was 4 and 5). Is he possiblity hurt or just my horny old man xP.
What can I do to help my 7 week old puppy adjust to being in her new home? She whines and howls whenever she is left alone for more than two seconds. I just want to know what I can do to help her.
I think my 7 month old puppy has separation anxiety. He never barks at anything, expect when we need to crate him when we leave the house. We have set up a camera to watch and hear him, and he howls/barks off and on all day. We live in a townhouse and our neighbour's have already complained. Is there anything we can do to help stop this issue? Thanks.
12 + year old male cat has a history of bladder infection will it be benificial to inject it with Penicillin Benzathine this is an outside barn cat apron weight 7-8 pounds. He keeps trying to urinate and only manages small amounts and howls a lot trying.
Currently trying to crate train Oliver. He sleeps straight through the night in his locked crate no problem. During the day when he naps, I place him in his locked crate after he falls asleep, and let him out when he's woken up. But when he is placed in his crate for a nap before he is fully asleep, after I lock the door and walk away, he whines and howls like no there's no tomorrow. Do I need to add more positive association with his crate like treats? Or should I just ignore his whining?
Whenever I leave my jack russel alone at home, he barks constantly from the second I walk out the front door til I walk back in. The longest he is ever left is 4 hours but he barks and howls that whole time. It is getting so bad that it seems he is developing breathing problems or maybe its just a saw throat, but he makes a lot of noises when breathing after im back. I would like to know if theres anything i can do to stop him from baking when alone and what is wrong with his breathing.
I recently found an amstaff/hound 14mo on the street and looking into her history has been andandoned 4 times I’ve had her a little over a month and she has horrible separation anxiety. But it’s only when I in specific leave My family is there but she still whines and howls nonstop fixated on the door. I’ve been trying many different things such as lengthening the time I’m gone, rewarding with treats, and supplying a crate she can feel safe in. She loves her crate but when I leave she wrecks it
My mom has adopted a small dog from an animal shelter and 2 months in cannot leave his side. He whines and howls the second she’s out of his sight. The vet has also said he has an absyss and rotten teeth that need to be extracted but that dogs have a high pain threshold so will be fine until for a few months without intervention. My question is if his dental issues could cause this behavioral clinginess as the dogs behavior means she cannot live a normal life right now and is causing more stress
