My cat pooped blood and pooped outside of the litter box. He pooped a few feet away from the litter box, and there was barely any blood. The blood is dark red in color. He is also hiding more than normal and eating more than normal. He is fixed and is an indoor cat. He lives with 2 other fixed indoor cats who are both males. He has never pooped outside of the litter box before. He is nine years old and I am very worried about him, but too afraid to take him to the vet. Help please!
Why is my 1.5 year old shi-zhu mix so leash aggressive towards other dogs? She will viciously bark and lunge at any other dog when she is on leash. However, we can take her to a dog park and she won't bark off leash. She generally will not play with the other dogs and will just ignore them but is not aggressive. My dog has a bad rash/allergies all over her body. Red irritated skin in her ears, on her right back leg, and front paws. Some hair is missing as well. Her eye is always watering and red around it as well.
My niece's dog is a Shih Tzu mix, she's around 10 to 15 pounds, she's 5 years and 7 months old. My question is can she be spayed at that age? Cause my niece is taking her to be spayed in a few days. She doesn't seem to have any health problems. My niece does not take her to the vet normally unless she's showing a health problem.
Lately in the morning my cat has been dry heaving/coughing. As if he's trying to get up a hairball. It'll start suddenly, go on for a minute, not usually much longer and then he'll be fine and come cuddle with me. I'm worried he has a hairball that just won't move. Is there anything I can do? Or should I bring him in to my vet?
My cat has a viral eye infection, she has seen a vet twice. The eye cleared up when she was pregnant, however since giving birth her eye has flared up again. We have recently moved house so quite abit if stress, her eye has now flared up again but looks sore. It leaks dark red liquid and the skin under her eye looks sore. I've had her the vet he insists its viral and will clear. Its been nad not for 12 weeks is there anything I can order to make it better?
Help—I’ve been invaded by fleas! My dogs seem to be ok. They are on monthly flea/tick meds. But, I’ve never put it on my cats. They are indoor except for the screened patio. I happened to have some cat meds that I use on a feral neighborhood cat, so I put it on them last night. I am still finding live fleas on them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
