Is the bottom of the litter box solid or does litter filter down onto the dry pad?

The aerator portion is like a screened mesh and is essential for the air circulation therefore very fine litter dust may get through the aerator onto the dry pad. It can be disposed of at the same time as the dry pad gets replaced.

Is this completely unscented ? I am allergic to a lot of scents so i am trying to find something without a scent.
