Dexter (cat, 5 yrs, male). Took Dexter to the vets on Friday as he showed signs of UTI (he's had it before), he was given antibiotics and anti-inflammatory shots. He stayed overnight and had catheter. He came home with us Saturday afternoon as he was stressed in the vets. We've been given Meloxicam for him as well as Hypovase and Noroclav. He has had bad diarrhoea for two days now and is crying. Melxicam says to stop if he gets diarrhoea, should I? Worried he is in pain is all.

I recently recused Dolly , she was 5pds when I got her. She was was aggersive,she respond to to love treats an patience. Now she is no longer aggersive. She eats a 1/2cup dry Wellness Sr. Weight management an a tablespoon of were food. She is on faloxadine 10 mil ,teeth cleaning treat , an glucosamine treat , treat whole chicken one a day each .she is latregic .but we walk every day. Is she ok all shots up to date.

After taking Hoonie to the vet because of his limping, the vet gave him some dexamethasone to take for seven days 2 times a day after meals and doxycycline for 10 days two times a day after meals. Then suddenly he keeps on consuming water and urinating more than what he does before. Im so worried. Please do give me answer.

My dog is a 3 year Maltese with 11 lbs. He was wearing a Scalibur necklace for flees, and by that developed a red rash around the neck. We removed it yesterday, but today he is itching, breathing more heavily than normal, and squiling. We called a vet and she told us to give him dexamethasone. We have 0.5mg human dexamethasone. We gave him 1 pill 0,5mg 5 hours ago, and 2 more half an hour ago. Total 1.5mg. Is that enough? Should we give more? When will the effect take place? Thanks!

Dexter doesn't try to jump on couches/people -which we first took as good behavior- but noticed he's also hesitant/slow going up/down the little step outside Doggy Door & often drags a leg going through the DD. Sometimes slow to stand up, other times spunky & springy. Tends to bunny hop back legs when running around the yard. We chalked it up to laziness or puppy silliness, but I'm getting concerned. No obvious pain. Considering his age, should I be worried about HP? What else could explain it?

I have a blond Mini Daschund 8 yrs old. She is always scratching herself. We have her on Hills Science Diet Small Breed Weight Control Small Bites. She has no fleas or parasites. Could it be her food and what kind would you suggest. When she scratches there is no flaking (like from dry skin?) Any suggestions?

My concern with the topical is I bath Sophie, my 7 mtg old puppy every week to 10 days since she loves the dog park and I am afraid the topical washes off with bathing and I also want a dewormer. What combo will fit her?
