I have this cage and we’ve liked it but it barely fits our 9 in wheel. Is there a way to stick the wheel to the bottom of the cage so it doesn’t bang against the glass walls? I’m worried about the hamster eating any rubber gripper on bottom?
- Hi EZHam Without insight into the type of wheel we am not able to offer a specific solution, but we do not sell an adhesive for adhering the wheel to a glass tank. An exercise saucer may reduce the banging against the wall. Would a cat be able to knock the top off? I have a 14 lb cat that likes to sit on my hammy’s cage.
- Probably but not definitely. There are 2 clips and if you positioned them on the long sides rather than front and back, it might be strong enough to prevent a cat pushing it over. Depending on how persistent and/or aggressive you cat is, I would strongly recommend locating additional spring loaded clips to reinforce it remaining on top of the tank.

How high is this from bottom of tank to top of cage topper?
- Hi Trainsfido, The height of this topper is 11 ½ inches. A 10g tank is usually around 12 ½ inches tall. Your approximate height when combined is 24”. Thanks,

I have 2 questions 1. Would a dwarf hamster escape from the bars 2. If you add the space at the top and bottom, isn't it approximately 20 gallons top and bottom combined
- Hamsters need one continuous space of 450+ sq in. Even if you counted the two levels together, it’s still too small for any hamster.
