Fear of men could come from a previous bad experience or even just from their larger stature and deeper voice. Things you can do to make Zayd more accepting of men are have your male friends feed, take for walks, give treats or play with a favorite toy. The idea is that they are creating a positive experience. Zayd may never be comfortable with ALL men but he will be more accepting of the ones in his life. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.

It could be that Zoe is getting too much human food, she likes it better, and that's why she isn't eating her dog food. She knows she will get human food. Put her food down in the morning, and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Pick it up after that time even if she hasn't eaten it. Then this is the important thing: Do NOT give her any food at all in-between meals. No human food, no treats, nothing. At dinner time, put her food down, and again leave it for 15-20 minutes. Pick it up after this time, and she doesn't get any food at all until the next morning. She will get hungry enough to eat. To be safe, having a health check with the vet would be a good idea just to make sure everything is ok. I hope this helps!

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! The first picture is hard to make out. The 2nd looks like a callus on the ankle. The last picture is normal in dogs and is the elbow callus. If Zenalda is not scratching and isn't missing hair elsewhere, it is normal to have thick hairless skin at pressure points. Is she starts losing hair elsewhere I would have her checked for either a skin infection, ring worm or mites. Hope this helps!

I would feed Zelda a puppy food. Because she is a puppy, she will need higher amounts of calcium, protein, and calories than an adult dog, and a puppy formulated food will provide that. You can give Zelda a large breed puppy formulated food, and feed her according to the instructions on the bag. Do not free feed her. I have attached a link to an article describing how to feed large breed puppies: http://ivcjournal.com/feeding-large-breed-puppies/

That is wonderful!! Our two dogs are our children along with our son. We call them our fur babies :-) It's great that you want the best for her, and reach out for help when you have concerns about her and Zeus. It's exactly what you should do when you have a pet, and shows how much you love them.
