This product is just a flavor enhancer and is only necessary to help get your dog to eat his normal food. It does have some nutritional properties to it and the ingredients all appear safe and appropriate to use for feeding. Just keep in mind that you are adding calories, so it should be minimally used with his normal food and you may consider cutting back his normal food a little if you are going to regularly add this to it. This product is definitely not intended to replace the food and is not nutritionally balanced like the royal canin food is. I hope that helps and all is well with Joey.

My dog is a picky eater and she's currently getting wet and dry food. What homemade foods could I add with it to give it more flavor? I'd switch can food flavors, but Royal Canin doesn't offer a lot of flavors. Thanks!
Boiled skinless chicken breast or cooked eggs could be added as toppers - just be sure that these foods along with other treats make up less than 10% of the total diet so there aren't any nutritional deficiencies.

My dog is not the biggest fan of dry food, so i try to mix it with food topper, but he ends up only eating the food topper and later he’ll eat the dry food. The one I buy is from pedigree, and the recommended amount is 300g of this + 75g of dry food
Hello. The food toppers are not considered complete foods & they are not nutritionally balanced. If he is eating the recommended amount of dry food for his age & weight, then you can continue with the food topper, but if not & you want to increase his nutritional intake of a balanced diet, then it is best to mix a good canned or wet food in with his dry instead of using the topper. Personally, I feel that if the topper is not nutritionally balanced, then you are feeding empty calories & the only ones who benefit from these products are the manufacturers. Can i put chicken soup on dry food? And can my dog eat only dry food without eating fresh good as chicken or meat or vegeg.??
I would not add chicken soup to her food as there is a lot of salt in the broth. You can add canned dog food to her diet for variety. I recommend using the same brand as the dry dog food you are feeding. Safe human foods are boiled chicken and boiled beef but canned dog food has the proper balance of vitamins and minerals.
