I would be very wary about this. Oftentimes these people may just be very good at reading animal and human body language to tell you what you want to hear. If you are interested in learning about how to communicate with your dog and strengthen the bond between you, there are several great articles on Boop by Petco that you can read. Here are links to a couple of them: https://www.petcoach.co/article/7-ways-to-strengthen-your-bond-with-your-dog/ https://www.petcoach.co/article/10-ways-dogs-try-to-communicate-with-us/ I hope this was helpful. It can be normal for a pet to become more attached to their owner, especially if there is a life event (recent move, recent family addition, change in work schedule, etc) that occurs. Dogs are true companion animals whom often grow attached to their owners. As long as Bella doesn't have any symptoms of illness such as vomiting, lack of appetite, lethargy or diarrhea then I wouldn't be concerned that this is anything more than Bella showing affection. Thanks for visiting Boop by Petco and take care.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This can be a classic sign seen with flea allergy dermatitis. If he is otherwise doing well, you can go ahead and start him on a flea preventative. I like Bravecto and Frontline though there are many products available in the market that are also good. If there is no improvement or he actually has a wound associated with this, have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment. He is adorable! Have a nice day!
