Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! This is very normal! I always warn my clients that after severe diarrhea, fasting them, starting chicken and rice and metronidazole that their dog may not have a bowel movement for several days. As long as Hercules is eating, drinking, not straining to poop and is not lethargic the poop with come! If he is straining, not eating or vomiting he should be rechecked. The yogurt is fine in small amounts. Adult dogs and cats are actually lactose intolerant and dairy products can cause Gi signs in some animals. If you want to use a probiotic I would use one made for animals like Purina Fortiflora. If he is tolerating the yogurt you can continue it. Have a great weekend!

Pedigree is fine if it's a food bath Yoggie seems to enjoy. He should be fed twice a day, once on the morning and once in the evening. I would divide the daily recommended amount on the label of his food into two equal portions. He may prefer to eat alone, so I would leave him be to eat his food in peace. Plain dog biscuits are fine, but he does not need milk. Dairy actually causes GI upset in dogs, so it's not recommended to give to him. The only liquid Yoggie needs is water :-)

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to reach out to our experts about feeding your dog frozen yogurt. While it is safe to feed frozen yogurt, moderation is important. Plain frozen yogurt with no sweeteners is best as too much sugar, just as with humans, is not the healthiest option. Avoid artificial sweeteners, especially xylitol, as these can be toxic and cause health problems. Feeding small portions is best and take care in paying attention to the additional calories that are being added into the diet, especially with obese prone animals. Yogurt can be a good addition to a bland diet as well. However, if you are seeking the benefits of the probiotics in yogurt for your dog, look at veterinary specific probiotics as these contain probiotics specific to a pet's natural biome.

Por favor, perdona mi horrible español! ¡Hola!

Hello. Honestly, I recommend either Nordic Naturals or Bayer Free Form Snip Tips. Both of these are highly recommended by veterinary dermatologists, too. You will need to call other veterinarians to see who carries Cytopoint. It is an excellent product & most of my clients love the convenience of only needing a simple injection once ever 6-8 weeks to control their pet's allergies. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
