I'm sorry to hear that one of your birds has flown away. If you have a second cage, you can place it in the yard where she flew off and put some food and water in it, as some birds will come back to eat and drink If you catch her inside, you can then close the door and bring her back in. If you do manage to catch her, bringing her to a vet to make sure she didn't get injured or ill while out and about is a good idea.

It looks like she may not be feeling well, or is stressed out by her new home. The cage she is in is also very small. If she won't perch at all and is just sitting on the bottom of the cage unmoving and doesn't improve after a day, or won't eat or drink, it would be best to seek veterinary care ASAP in person as she may be ill.

Hello Chanel and congratulations on your new pet. Here are some links with helpful information: https://www.petcoach.co/article/cockatiels-nymphicus-hollandicus-species-profile-coloration/ https://www.petcoach.co/article/basic-bird-care/ https://www.petsmart.com/learning-center/bird-care/cockatiel-care-guide/A0065.html https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/cockatiels---general-information A single bird is more likely to bond with it's owner BUT you MUST devote a lot of attention to it every day or it could become lonely. These are very smart birds and they need stimulation or they can develop depression and other neurosis. Two birds are more likely to bond with each other but that's not to say they won't bond with you as well. They still need stimulation but will keep each other company. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Cockatiels are extremely vocal birds, so it may just be that Cici is excited and very "talkative". Giving him some fun things to do such as adding in an enriching toy that requires concentration to open or play with, playing soothing music, or even moving him to a quieter location free of other pets and people may help him to settle down some. If he is housed with another bird, there could be competition over perches, food and water dishes which is causing stress, so adding extra in and making sure there is enough room for both birds may help. If he does continue screaming, or seems ill or painful in addition, a vet visit is always a good idea to rule out any pain or underlying health issues.

If you just got her yesterday she is likely very stressed out and still adjusting to her new surroundings. It would be best to keep her in a calm, quiet area without being bothered by other pets and people so she can relax and settle in. Giving her a day or so to relax and rest may encourage her to eat and return to normal behavior. Making sure she has a balanced diet, and removing the egg that you found (as it likely isn't viable) is best. That is also an extremely small cage for her size, (the size you have is for a finch or budgie) and she should be moved to a larger one with larger perches to support her feet so that she can move around freely, stretch her wings, etc. The food cups also look very small so she may be having trouble getting to them to eat. You will also want to add in some toys in a larger cage so that she can have some enrichment and playtime. If she doesn't start eating or perk up after a day or so, or she shows any additional signs of illness, seeking veterinar
