Could you please recommend some good dog dental products?
Hi there and thank you for using Pet Coach! Here is a list of the products I typically recommend: 1. CET oral rinse 2. CET enzymatic toothpaste 3. Oravet chews 4. Plaque off 5. CET chlorhexidine chews Not all of these will work but I have had some mixed success using all of these. My favorite is the Oravet chew as it employs an additive known as Delmopinol to prevent tartar formation. Oravet chews are only available in veterinary clinics so you may have a hard time finding this one online. All of the other products you can find online. I hope this helps! my dog is very itchy losing hair. i took her to the vet and they gave her antibiotics it helped for a few weeks and now shes back to itching her face almost raw. also losing hair on back legs and chest what do u think i could be and what should i do?
Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. What you are describing sounds like she has quite a bad allergy. I would recommend starting the below products, which can be found online quite easily. If there is no improvement, I would recommend having her examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. There are good options that are available to treat the allergies. If the below products do not help, I would recommend discussing these alternative options with your vet. 1. Douxo PS calm shampoo and bathe twice weekly 2. Malacetic conditioning spray and apply to the area until resolved 3. Welactin omega 3 fish oil capsules 4. Essential 6 spot on by dermoscent

Our Aussie mix 1 year old pup Willow licks her paws after she’s been outside. And it’s not just one paw. My sister recommenced Zesty Paws to help. My question is, Willow is on reconcile that she takes once a day, is it safe to give her this too?
Yes, she can take both concurrently. I actually prefer Redonyl over Zesty Paws. It is a vet only item but you do not need a prescription. https://worldtails.securevetsource.com/itemView/view/198944_HomeDelivery.pml?productId=136578 The Redonyl is more cost effective for you too. She would need one of the 200mg chews once a day so the 120 count package will last you almost 3 months. She would need 2 of the Zesty Paws and that will only last you 45 days. Regardless of which product you choose, she is safe to take either one concurrently with the Reconcile. Good question!

Congratulations on your new dog! I like Revolution if you are looking for a topical product. It consistently works well and is well tolerated. If you like the idea of an oral product better, I like Trifexis (it’s another all in one product). Sometimes though the pets can smell the Trifexis and they won’t eat it. In that instance, I like Simparica and Interceptor. My personal preference is oral products. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Good choice. Extend is actually very good. I prefer Cosequin because I have personally seen better results though Extend is also adequate and you could consider keeping Dottie on it longterm. Good luck and have a wonderful day!
