Hello. What a sweetie! I always go with what jumps out at me, so I see primarily Pit Bull or Staffordshire Terrier, Shar-Pei, & maybe a touch of Boston Terrier. Quite a mix! Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco! Based on the picture, it does appear that this could be a hot spot. I typically recommend using products that soothe and treat infection. What I would recommend would be Well & Good Hydrocortisone spray (at Petco) and Miconahex + Triz spray and apply both of these twice daily until resolved. If there is no improvement within 7 days, I would recommend taking your dog in to be seen by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps!

Hi there! Urine marking on humans is definitely not as common as marking on objects in the environment, but sometimes does happen. This behavior is usually related to stress, anxiety, or over-arousal. More information about the specific situations that tend to trigger the marking behavior would be needed in order to make any specific suggestions. The same is true for "being very defiant," as I'm not sure exactly what you mean by this. Feel free to post again with more information, or request a consultation with one of us for a more in-depth discussion if you prefer.
